It was my father who started it all with a small sign with a pink heart and the words “Stay strong. Stay Brave.” But the group grew, and so did the well-wishers, prayers, and friends who got to know my story. I personally thank news icon, and who I am now happy to call my friend, Cyd Marie Fleming, for bringing my story to the public through Las Noticias, Univision.
